BS the roads are clear...it took me 45 mins to get to work today in whats normally a 15 min drive...it took me 25 mins just to go 4 blocks from my house with all the backed up traffic. 1/2 of DOT called out or is coming in late...i shouldve just done the same.

My road is clear from my house to as far as I can see (and I live ina rural town, not on the main road). Â*I hope the roads are pretty clear in an hour or so when I go for my job interview in Trenton. Â*I know yesterday the roads were craptastic, from my house to Ewing (the only clean road was 206, not even 195 or 29 were clean). Â*By 1:00 when I go to this interview they better be passable as I don't have 4wd today

I know this. But my job interview is in Trenton at 2pm. Hence my concern with the roads in Trenton. And I was in Ewing yesterday at our apartments helping to dig them out as well.

I had to drive in to work (aka school, since I'm a teacher). I can't believe our State Capital roads are not passable yet; there's something wrong with that picture. The local towns in our area did a less-than-stellar job of plowing, but I got in without a hitch. Course, I was driving my wife's 4WD Jeep Liberty, but....

Most of the roads here in Ewing have packed snow on them. They never did come back down our road yesterday to plow after the morning. You should have seen the snow flinging off the tires on my 4Runner this morning! I was watching everyone with front wheel drive spinning at the intersection of Lower Ferry and Upper Ferry because of the packed snow and uphill intersection. It was kind of entertaining. Yeah, that's it, mash the gas pedal until you move somewhere!

Our apartments are on Central Ave. I watched people turning way too fast from Pennington onto Central and sliding all over the place. We were pulling a trailer in 4wd low and still had problems turning, not only there, but on the back streets like Brenwall and Florence (trying to decide where the hell to park since the driveway hadn't been done yet and there was nowhere on the road to go).

I don't think I've ever uttered the words "I'm bored" in nearly ten years.
Oh wait, thats how long I've been married and working at my current job.
People complaining about being bored kinda reminds me of kids complaining about taking a nap. You should just enjoy it while you have it.
