Borat being sued for being funny ?????
IN the political correct world we live in the slime who stand to make money off anything anyone sayes is out gunning for Borat -- hes being sued for the statements made buy the 3 drunk collage kids that claim he got them drunk and used the clip in the film and one or more of them who was under 21 == do you think they will win ????? they were paid 200 each now they want millions cause they are emotionally scared - jz

they'll win its how our country works.... the idiots get millions (ie the 2 dudes who electicuted themselves while trespassing in a train yard and got 24 million for it) and the people who are actually hurt by someone else dont get **** (drunk driver killed a kid who used to go to school with me his family was awarded 10,000)

i hope they do win this case. Borat is not funny, and anyone who went to see that movie needs to be beaten into having common sense.
Let's get underaged kids drunk, lie to them about what we are doing, tape them and then make them look like ******** to the nation so they are never able to get jobs and people always look at them like they are stupid...
Yeah, then we make millions off other idiots who watch our movie and don't pay them.
Great country, i hope he goes to jail on top of paying the fine.

Well, they may not get millions- but here's how it will work (using made up numbers)-
They will file suit knowing that the other side will have to hire lawyers totaling $50,000- regardless of if they win or lose... just to appear in court.
They will offer to settle out of court for $40,000, and chances are the other side will take it because it will be less money.
Sound ridiculous? Well, it is. But it also happens all the time.

ali g is a comedic genius and anyone who says otherwise is crazy. he is simply exploiting american attitude towards foreigners and at the same time making fun of how we act in comparison to the rest of the world. i watched him back on HBO and i still laugh when i see him.
