Finally...(no relation to fidget's thread!)

Went to Deleware to look at a 2001 black on black WS6 Ram Air M6 ttop trans am today. Its only downfall is 94,xxx miles on it, but the car does not physically show it...typical little teenie pinhole leak on the rear in the seal...no biggie, drives fine, everything was good. If anything, its going to need a driver side window motor soon. again, no big deal. headlight motors recently replaced, brand new brakes all around. So i put a deposit on it today, and the formula is sale pending to dravenblackbird and the 4th gen 3.8L auto is officially for sale and needs to go ASAP.

so, liz is upgrading to a LS1 biznitches!!!! mwahahahhaha!!!

which rear seal? Dunno what you mean by a typical leak unless you mean the rear main seal. Other downfall is the whole everyone and their grandma havng a black on black ws6 but what can ya do....

Good luck with it

rear "pinion", right between the pumpkin and the rest of the rear...just a matter of replacing the gasket/RTV

It's a rear pinion seal. It's not a "main" anything...

Do yourself a favor, pick up a set of 4.10s and an install kit and have Josh put em in

Isn't "WS6" and "Ram Air" in reference to ls1 T/As a little redundant?

mike's right, 3.42s

and 3.73s were not a 4th gen f body option, no "special orders"

You really think I don't know Y87s?? I was "no"-ing the 3.73s, ive always herd they never came stock (on a 4th gen at least)

And thinking about my previous statement.... taking into account the points brounght up on EPFBA.... pick up some 2.73s, not 4.10s

so the guy called today, he needs me to pick it up tomorrow. So i just called USAA and got my own insurance so i could register it in my name. I've never had my own insurance before and they made it easy as cake...only $115 a month or so. So i'll have her by tomorrow afternoon yayy!!

my parents are going to love me having the formula (until draven picks it up), the 84, my 2000 bird (until i sell it) and now my 01 trans am. I guess its a good thing rick isnt moving his 93 Z28 to my house this saturday anymore...i think my parents would kill me having 5 fbodies lol.
