Either way, I didn't catch it until I felt the vibrations, heard some evil bearing squeal, then those two lugs and studs let go when I got off the highway - the front end got real squirmy. I had it flat-bedded the rest of the way home and just got around to fixing it yesterday.

this happened to my on my durango last week....one sid ei went to take off the wheel, put no pressure on it and one snapped off, as i hammered that one out, 2 others just snapped. then on my way home 2 nights after i heard a clunking and it got realll bad so i pulled over and figured id check the lugs on all wheels, 3 wheels r tight, the other front wheel i go to tighten and 3 more lugs break right off. it was 1 in the morning and i was 2 miles from home..i did 10mph home and it took half hour lol.
