				Hoping for 11's Wed night

I'm planning on hitting the drag strip Wed night to try and lower my best time of a 12.573@107. My car is a 94 3.4 liter turboed camaro. I should better my best et if everything holds up. I'm running 15lbs of boost but have never left the line with boost. After upgrading my brakes I can now hold 5lbs of boost on the line.

Good news bad news from last night.Good news not too many people were there. Weather was good and cool.
The car ran awesome nothing broke. Won two out of three races.
Bad news could not hook up all night. The car was performing so good it would just spin the tires. I lowered the nitto's all the way down to 15 psi and still could not get traction. No video's.

Too bad you couldn't thow a th350 in the car leave on the brake with a 2-step. You would definately need some better tires if you planned on that though.

What tires would you recommend? Any other suggestions to make the rear dig in. I have a bmr torque arm, lakewood lca with relocation brackets set at lowest setting, adjustable panhard bar, stock sway bar, stock shocks and v6 coils with passenger side air bag set at 15psi. The rear is out of a 94 z28 with 3:42 gears.

Might need to go alittle looser....what kind of tune is on the car? Do you know what your AFR's are?

How much does your car weigh? Your trapping 107 then you car is probably making around 300rwhp right? What was your 60' on your 12.5 pass? It must have been around a 1.7-1.8 60' since usually 1 tenth off your 60' is close to 2 tenths off your ET and you cut a 2.08 and ran a 13.06. That means you will need to cut a 1.5 60' to get close to a 11 second pass with your curent setup! It might just be easier to get an 11 second time with more boost!!
I was in the same boat as you with my V6. Kept getting ****** 60's When I tried to spray out of the hole. When I did cut a good 60 it broke my Rear end. My best pass was a 12.8@118mph with a 2.2 60' without spraying in 1st gear. My car made 370 rwhp and weighed in at 3450 with me in it. I was happy with that pass because of the MPH. My roomate ran a 11.8@118 in his superchaged heads and cams 01 GT mustang and my V6 with heads cam and nitrous trapped the same MPH as his car did!
