I realllllllyyyyy need to learn how to putt!

Last Monday I went out golfing at 6:30pm and even with the humidity, I was able to get in 18 holes. I came into the 17th hole at 7 over par and needed to par 17 and 18 to shoot a 79. Nope, bogey 17 and double bogey 18 for an 82. My glove was soaked after 9 holes and the clubs were spinning in my hand on the back 9. Then, last Thursday I start out missing 4 putts of 5' or less in the first 5 holes. I shoot 6 over on the front 9 and come into the 17th hole at 7 over again! This time I get 2 bad breaks and end up 5 and 10 feet off the green in heavy rough and can't make a good enough chip on either hole. 2 bogeys and I shoot an 81. So today I go out at 6:30 while it's still 98 degrees out and shoot 7 over on the front so I figure my round is crap. I birdie the 10th and par the next 6 holes (missing 5 birdie putts) and come into the 17th hole at 6 over this time. I go bogey, bogey and shoot an 80! I've never had 3 chances to shoot in the 70's in one season let alone 8 days! I need windmills or something to putt at!

 | Yeah, I shot 79 a couple times way back 20-25 years ago and then last year I shot a 75 out of nowhere. I struggled the rest of the year after that round but this year I'm starting to put it back together again. Except for the putting thing. I've probably played at least 30-40 times this year already. It helps living across the street from the course and going out late on weeknights only costs $8 to play.
