Island on ESPN
I was just watching ESPN's 'NHRA 2 Day' and they did a story on Island. Anybody else see it?

i missed it. wish i had known it was on. i would have taped it and posted it up.
do they replay nhra2day any other time?
i wonder if i could contact espn and get a tape of teh segment. i will look into it
later

Really? Well, it was about a 6 minute piece and it was very well done. They talked about the hstory of the track, and how the first 200mph run was at Island. They interviewed a lot of people and showed a lot of cars runnin. It was really good.

Yeah, they filmed it during the National Open, so we knew it had a chance of being on at some point, but they never gave us a date.  Hopefully we'll get a tape.
