Well, is the TV Show " PINKS " for real or not, ME, & my friends- Barry, Bob,& Whitey are thinking about get on the show, but need more info. on it. JR1.

Well, the show is "real", however the two sides usually negotiate a buy back before the show. It is usually along the lines of "Loser can buy first round at the bar after the show, and then I'll give him the car back"

It would be pretty cool to see you and Barry going at it on TV.

Pinks is the biggest joke of a show ever!. I was at the taping at Atco and I've never seen so much bs in my life. If you do go on it, buy a junker 5.0 stang or older lt-1 maro or bird. Throw a 300 shot on it, add some decent paint and go win the same.

i saw this one episode where they had a 4th gen z28 or ss and a black ws6, the camaro ripped the **** outta the ws6. but also the camaro had ALOT more **** done to it then the ws6. i think the ws6 was the guys daily driver but the maro was just a race car

the show is fake, the host is an ass clown who knows nothing about racing(street or otherwise), and it is shown on the NASCAR network.
they were at atco a few months ago. it was clown central. no races happened cause the host didn't think anyone had anything. i know at least 5 9 second cars that were there and prolly 2 dozen that were in the mid to low 10's and this guy couldn't find a race that he liked?
i have already emailed speed channel twice about the show adn how much of a **** fest it is. i woudl suggest everyone else do the same.

Couldn't agree more. I know a bunch of the guys that had cars at Atco and there could have been some good races if the host wasn't such a tool! He is definetly

... they need a seperate channel for the NASCAR junkie... i turn the ****in station on and all it is ... is none other than NASFART .... i wanna see some Pro Stock dragracing and how about some muscle cars ffs.

i liked it when they used to advertise their F1 and world rally coverage and even used to cover the touring car series that they sponsor live. they also used to show the SCCA june sprints from elkart lake and the SCCA run-offs live instead of on tape delay. several years they even had flag to flag coverage of the 24hours of daytone, the 12 hours of sebring, and the 24hours of le mans.

all of that is gone now so they can give us the same "news" stories about which happy ass clown nascar driver said a dirty word this week.

I thought I was the only one who thought that! I dont even want that big NHRA funny car style drag racing show (they show that on ESPN) I want to see some real cars, like cover an event at englishtown or something. Show more auto-x events, show all sorts of racing, anything from around the world! I even cought them showing Louge (sp?) racing... come on!

They show all the good stuff early in the morning when Im not awake!!! One time I cought amateur Ralley Racing, and it was a really good show, I never saw it again.

I'm trying to get them to come to Island Dragway, for a East Coast Battle, So!!!, Me & a Freind (Barry) thought; well, how about me and him, at Island for a race as old friends gone bad. We wouldn't care who wins. JR1. Well Tim, think that would get there attention.

they only show NASCAR alot because it is the biggest racing league in the country...and im not just saying that cause i am a NASCAR fan...but every NASCAR event is sold out...and thats over 100,000 people at every race they hold...and this year, NASCAR's ratings were their highest in years...so i can see why Speed shows a lot of NASCAR stuff...but they really only show qualifyiing(not all time), and a couple of behind the scenes shows...but they do show their fair share of other racing leagues...and they probably won;t show "normal cars" because that won't bring in high ratings...sure, we like it, but most of the country is not into that type of racing...so NASCAR is their cash crop...and they only cover "big" events locally were there is a huge variety of cars, not just on type...so for now, Speed is gonna be anchored by NASCAR, with a few other racing leagues thrown in...

NASCAR needs to check with the NHRA before they go making claims about who packs in more people.
drag racing holds more spectators per weekend, more miles raced annually, and it is the most widely participated form of racing in teh world. NASCAR is growing faster by percentage for spectators and participants, but that is only because their numbers are fractional compared to what the NHRA does.

sounds like the kind of BS story those stooges woudl sink their teeth into. i guess we all get to roll up there as your "crew" for teh battle and participate in the **** talking?

me and my buddy called the host last night and got ahold of him(not a recording, but himself) i told him that me and this guys wanna go at it.(his iroc vs my bird) he said they arent doing it like the frist season where every1 knew every1, they are doing it now so that no1 knos each other, they are picked at random, and the winner will keep the car this time around, no more 1 round of beer buys the car back

pinks is definitely the gayest show. My dad and I were watching it the other night and both were like wtf?? First of all..use a damn tree to race, not that faggot moving his arms. I remember the one guy was saying he wanted 30 car lengths for 1000ft race
