the best part of that install was torquing the k member mounting bolts to 150 ftlbs! i was worrying in my head the whole time of snapping a bolt or pulling the threads out of the car!!! i havent put the car down yet to see if i get a pro stock look out of it, i am waiting on my SSBC disc brakes, i got the calipers but awaiting on the rotors

as soon as the brakes get put on i will take shots of that too. i am curently debating putting in all new steering stuff (rod ends, idler arm, etc.) the car only has 48000 original miles on it and its a 92. i dont have any steering slop or play in it so i will most likely hold off on it

the car now should be abotu 128-130 mph on one stage of nitrous, i plan to run dual stages this year for a 400 shot total, which should put me into deeeeep 10's if not high 9's. i like to be able to stop after making a pass ya know? haha

it wasnt bad at all, just jacked the car up abotu a foot and a half, put a jack under the oil pan and also had my engine hoist holding the engine from the front too. it took 3 hours with a sawzall to get out the factory k member since it was hitting the headers! after that the install went pretty smoothly.
as far as the brakes the car stops from the best 125mph speed i had in the 1/4 but you can tell the brakes were struggling a little (as in the car was shaking) haha i know some that still have factory brakes, but for me i would rather have the extra added insurance.
Tim, I am working on the weight issue
thanks for the compliment on the clean car!!

So, how much does your weight, and how much HP's is the motor making alone. just wondering. because with a 400 shot and hp's from motor should be well in the nines; i would say. JR1 & Little Man.

I've been busy refreshing motors, looking to find time to tare my motor apart, but customers come first. Me & Barry with the orange firebird put a 355" making about 450hp, and he's going to plumb it into the intake for 150 to 500hps, car should go low 12's on motor, and on a 250 shot low 10's, i'm quessing that you leave the line on motor for about 30ft. then have all 400hps. come in 1,000 rpms. before your shift point and with good traction go mid to low 9's, plus i was trying to link to your pictures of your new front-end parts and wouldn't open. JR1 & Little Man.
