Hamas gains control
Watching the news. Hamas won the majority of the the seats in the Parlement. With that, the Prime Minister and his cabinet quit and now Hamas is now controling the goverment, and they did it legaly with elections set up by Americans.
Gotta love it. Let me say it now....WWIII.

This REALLY sucks. My family has worked for decades to try and attain peace over there. This doesn't look like forward progress. Peace will never exist there anyway, the US spends over $3 billion each year in direct military support of the Israelis which makes up more than 25% of the US's gross foreign export. No one is stopping the Israelis from taking land that doesn't belong to them, slaughtering innocent women and children, and assasinating Palesinians in other countries, for doing things as simple as writing a book. As long as the US backs Israel, and the rest of the world turns the other cheek, the entire Middle East will be in a state of unrest.

But anyway, it sucks Hamas taking over...we'll see what happens.

i doubt anything will change over there. its not like they didnt control the government in the first place.

As much as I support us being in Iraq(to a certain extent) one UN official put things into perspective. When asked about the problem in the Middle East he responded perfectly. He said there is the no problem in the Middle East because a problem has a solution.
