i was thining about taking the beater to the track. winter is killing me, i am dying to see some racing in person again.

even if the track isn't great yet, it is still the track.

justin is definately going with me and there will be a video camera along to capture the boat rockin the 1320.  lol
the goal is to put a 16.9 on the boards at 80+mph.
the car is pretty much stock other than the hacked air box. i am gonna try to hook up a ricer ram air(removed headlight style) to see how much that helps. i will of course also clean all the crap out of the car before the trip down.

if i was gonna go with a power adder i wouldn't waste time with nitrous on a fuel injected engine. i would put together something from teh 4 turbos i have sitting around here and drop 10 or so psi into it.
but it is a no money beater. so i will do free/super cheap/amusing mods only.

Are those Sundays busy at the opening of the season? I need to go on a day/night where I can get the most runs possible.

My first car was an 86 Lincoln Towncar. It had a HO 5.0 from a 1991 Mustang that was used as a test car for the 1993 SVT Cobra project. The mustang it came out of was modded suspension wise and exhaust wise, the engine was pretty much a typical GT motor and my towncar did a 17.6 in the 1320. Mods done to it at that time: K&N drop in filter, custom dual cat-back exhaust. That thing was awesome man, gotta love the ford panther platforms!! Seriously tho, u could have some fun with it.

It's all up in the air. Sometimes they're busy, sometimes not. Can't really tell, it all depends on the weather. Typically in the earlier part of the season i think its still too cold out for a lot of people. But then you also have the guys who just did new stuff and want to get cold air runs. It's a tough call. I definitely don't think its as busy as during the summer though.
