Pushrods VS VTEC

I roll up to the light, and there in the left lane is a brand newish black Saturn Vue with a certain Egyptian behind the wheel. I roll down my windo, as he turns to me and says "Right to that construction sign is exactly a 1/4 mile. We used to race here in high school. When the light goes green, Im gone."
Well...I flick off the TC, bring it down into manual mode, stall it to 1200, and watch the lights...
Red....
Yellow....
....Green
Sounds of tires squeeling as I pull out of the hole, taking it to the 6k redline, instantly putting the Vue at my rear fender. Shift to 2nd, and he drops back to at my tail lights. Third hits, and here comes the construction sign as I pull a half a car to a car.

Just another reason to know that Pushrods pwn VTEC.
