I challenge anyone to make it from North jersey to my parents place in less then the 15 1/2 hours we did it in last year. Trust me I was avg. over 90 mph most of the time I was driving. 16 hours is a reasonable time to go 1400 miles.

Daytona beach is about 4 hours from my parents place on the gulf side south of tampa. So, you'd need to go past daytona, all the way across to tampa and then head south for another hour. SO, get back to me another day youngin...

listen biatch i've made the trip many more times then you I'll guarantee that. it is 186 miles so if you go the speed limit 75 it takes 2 1/2 hours now that's not taking into consideration A) traffic in orlando due to Disney world, and B) traffic due to construction which is a never ending project on Rt 4.
So try again this isn't space where there are no other space ships in your way my friend.

He's got a point Tsar....1400 miles in 15.5 hours is just over 90 mph average speed. That's a pretty good average for that distance including gas & food stops.

you made many more trips then me but you dont know any other ways to Orlando besides major highways ohh and i thought you were averaging "well over 90mph" on your way down there? maybe you should get your story straight before you open your mouth. ohh just for another referense we've made it to naples in about 4 hours, thats nearly 300 mile trip so take that home and chew it. its ok to drive slow you're old after all you know, so no onw expects you to go over the speed limit.

Typical internet tough guy I love it. My dad can beat up your dad. LMAO
Juice made a comment about doing the drive in 16 hours. You have no idea where in Florida they are going and you open your big mouth about them driving slow. I then educated you on the distance and the speed at which we traveled including additional pit stops that you don't have to deal with and still did it in damn good time. Take your smart ass comments and your I'm better then you attitude and shove it up your ass.
Anyone that knows me knows I've never driven the speed limit and even at my ripe old age of 30 I still don't know how to drive slow. I'll run rings around you any day of the week and I'll use the Altima to do it.
You don't like my attitude oh well like I said I'm not really into making new friends on these boards when people act like they are gods gift to the internet. On that note this WILL be my last response to you. And in the future I'll be sure to just ignore any comments you make and I'll just agree to dislike you and you can do the same.

i never once mentioned anyone but me and my friends in my stories, so your analogy doesnt apply to me. nice try tho.
He stated it will take him 16 hours to drive 1250 miles, he's driving to florida which is mostly highway driving, and since ive driven my own car there and back numerous times, also ive made trips from sparta nj to ft.lauderdale florida in a truck with a trailer i know exatly how long it takes to get there. oh and also the fact that i used to live there and i know alot of roads, especially to orlando area.
I dont give a **** about your altima or you being 30. and im not the one getting but hurt here, you asked who can beat your time and i said i can. Thats when you started to come up with excuses, face it old man you got challenged and you couldnt back up your ********. its ok better try next time. you dont like me? alright, not like i care.

and now back to your regularly scheduled post. For those that care, have a good trip and be careful. Watch out in Virginia those State Troopers hate out of state cars so take it easy through there.
Tell Pedro I say hello, and if you get a chance stop off in N. Carolina and grab my wallet I think I left it in the rest stop at the Waffle House.

Actually, it's 1400 miles, you're 150 miles short.
Do the math. 1400 divided by 15.5 hours (the quickest it's been done), and that equals an average of 90.3 MPH...which includes stops for gas and random breaks for el sicko. (For the record, I was not with them for this trip, only in spirit and through many texts and phone calls lol). Any normal person who drives the speed limit or barely over will take longer to drive.
Now, factor in they had a brand new M Class to take last year. THis time, we have 2 Neons, 1 SRT4 and 1 SXT. The SRT4 will need to stop WAY more often for gas then either the M or the SXT. The M class has a much larger tank and would go longer, and the SXT gets better mileage. So now that 1400 miles will be averaged at about 80 to 85 mph. Which is anywhere between 16.5 and 17.5 hours.
16 hours is a reasonable time to get down there. Why you think it's too slow is beyond me.
