Check out this LT1 hood
Im always on the look out for a different unique, yet tastefull hood for my own 93-97 LT1 car. I cam across some pictures of this on LS1tech. I have seen this hood before but not from a side profile. I have mixed feelings about it to be honest. I think it has a very nice height & side profile, but I think the whole thing is too narrow. They need to make it wider IMO... what do you guys think?

personally, i like it. its still an SS hood, but not trying to be a clone, so thats good. And if you can make that functional, all the better.

i actually kinda like it. I was looking at one similar to that but it continued further back towards the windshield and was a little shorter.

Looks good from the side, but I don't like the way it looks from the front. To tall-ish looking.

I like those hoods only if the engine can back em up looking intimidating. I have a 4th gen and I'm probably gonna go w/ a ZL1 hood.

Maybe it's just me but that doesn't even look like the same hood? Side shot looks like a 2" cowl induction or something... from the front it's a 4" rise SS?

I feel the same way, that car better have a 500+ c.i. engine in it or the hood is just overkill.

I believe its a 3" tall SS Style hood. VFN makes it I believe.
BTW there are two different kinds of SS hoods, there is the OEM SLP style which is a much more narrow version, and their is also a SS "Competition" hood that is wider. I think RK Sport makes that one.
Anyway just thought i'd throw it out there.
