I hate ricers
Now before I get flamed lol...I have nothing against imports. Imports are tasteful and fast which I like. Ricers, we all know, are fart canned, stickers that add horsepower, 9 second dragster wings on an 18 second car, and old/busted.
Now that that's out of the way.
Begin rant...
I don't know what the heck is wrong with some people these days. I live on a main road and everytime I'm home all I hear atleast once an hour is some dumb*** racing his ricer off the stop sign and go blazing by my house. I have 3 performance cars in the driveway(2 WS6 Trans Ams, 1 C5 Vette), but I still don't understand why these guys think that beating the crap out of their cars going by my house is impressing anyone. Especially when my 2 roommates and I are outside BSing or working on the cars. Oooo there are some car guys outside; let me impress them with the worst sounding exhausts ever created that only makes babies cry lol. Everytime they do that when I'm outside I give them a friendly thumbs down. One of these days I'm installing retractable spike strips in front of my house and sitting outside to watch the show lol.
End rant
Ofcourse I do get the occassional nice sounding Import or muscle car that does the same thing, but it's ok when they do it

I have a blue c5 and a 99 Z28. On street parking. The ricers fly by and rev their fart cans to set off my alarms. I swear to god next time i will chase them down. Fuggin ridiculous. I get harrassed for a V8 musclecar being to loud but every dickhead with a honda has a fart can strapped to it.

same thing happens by my house all the time.. we've got my 1987 IROC in the driveway, my brothers 1987 GTA trans am, and sometimes my brothers 1993 Trans Am in our driveway, people make the turn onto the street and nail it, lots of times its ricers, but sometimes its a tuned up turbo-diesel, or a fellow 4th gen fbody, or another thirdgen... my neighbors probably get pist, but hey, im not the one making the noise, untill one of our cars starts off to go chase 'em!!

i used to have a problem with people flying down my street, then i got "2x4". it is about a 3ft long piece of old board with concrete chunks on it. if someone habitually flies down my street, i just wait til the next time i hear them coming, walk to the end of the driveway, and gently toss it in the street. as they run it over and it whacks a fender they usually stop, at whcih time i pull out my 2ft breaker bar and "calmly" explain to them that this is a residential area adn there are children around.
most have some stupid **** comment about me putting stuff in the road and how they are gonna sue, i just mention that if they had been going a reasonable speed they woudl ahve ben able to see and avoid any debris that happens to find it's way into the road.

Almost everytime I'm outside my house and a ricer drives by he'll try to take off right when he gets in front of my house, but the funny part is when they put the pedal to the floor they don't really go anywhere their car just sounds real loud and annoying.

I work at Firestone in Glassboro, and this kid came in with a newer riced out Eclipse and asked how long a oil change would take, we had about 10 cars already, so my manager said about 45mins, and the kid stormed out and when he pulled onto Delsea drive his fart can was so loud it was shaking the windows of the garage, it was the loudest ricer i have ever heard, but it was funny becasue he was going so slow, the sound and the speed just didn't match up.
