Welp, I'm down about 12 lbs on my diet, so I'm going into phase 2, which is THE TURBO PROTEIN plan! Nothing but a protein mix and liquids for as long as I can stand it. BOOYAH! BRING IT ON, SUCKA!!!

The Met-Rx protein shakes from GNC are awesome. I used to buy them by the giant box. Watch out though, they are high in calories so you need to be working out pretty good to burn them off.

negative, muscle milk is by far the best protein shake ever! the powder is pretty good but the premade stuff tastes like really thick chocolate milk, its amazing!

The Muscle Milk RTD is good, and Met-Rx's RTD Lite (vanilla) is a good one too. GNC's house brand stuff has been described as tasting like "rotten *******".

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold standard is the best powder out there IMO... and I've tried many.

Tried Metalbol II and Whey Protien. I never got anywhere with anything other than Isogen Progain.

Watch for carbs in those shakes. That will hurt your effort.

Good job on th 12 lbs!

Good for you Bob. If you want to loose a few pounds a weekend I have a lot of firewood to split. When the Beer catches up I work it off swinging an axe while the kid uses the machine. Its the best thing work gets done and I can drink more Beer.

Muscle Milk is really good, but you may want to go with Cyto-Gainer. It's actually less fat and more protein than Muscle Milk. But the fat is supposed to be the good "lean" type fat...so as long as your exercising it shouldn't be much of an issue.

It's hard to beat 'roids, but I gotta keep it legal. I'm happy with my results so far.

I might have to take ya up on that, Joe. Two guys from Manville swingin' axes would be a beautiful thing to behold!
