check engine light help needed

my camaro is running like its got a 750 lift cam in it.....running rich and really hot....

the codes i got are....

43 Electronic spark timing (EST) circuit - low voltage detected ORRRR Electronic spark control (ESC) circuit problems

45 Rich exhaust indication - oxygen (02) sensor voltage stays high after one minute of engine run (Left sensor on dual sensor engines)

53 Over voltage condition (electronic transmission note: this fault may cause other codesto be set) ORRRR Exhuast gas recirculation (EGR) system problems or EGR solenoid no.1 problem ORRRR colatage reference error ORRRR VATS problems....

ANYYYY IDEASSSS HELP IS NEEDED....

and the car was runing extremely hot put the ac on and only one of the 2 fans was running....

and while driving it home last night it was bogging out like crazy....loss of power then gain of horsepower style.... and about a month ago my fuel pump would kick on and off like 3 times with no key in the ignition when the car was off.....

so any idea..... fuel pump and o2 sensor are my guesses/....

Thanks Jared

Check your charging voltage, I had a problem similar on my 84 and it was an alternator diode, car was charging at 17 volts.

how do i check this alt diode? unplug the main wire harness from the alt and hook a test up to that?

Can't really check the diode, but just throw a voltmeter on the battery, with the car off it should read 12-12.5 volts, with the car running you should get around 14-14.5 volts, much more then that it could be your problem. If it is charging high it is most likely a diode in the alternator, you can re-build or do what I do and just get another.

ok..... the car runs like garbarge when its all plugged in..... thennn i took out the 2 wire jack with loom tubing out of the back and it ran fine....... so im guessing it is the diode in the alternator.....

Did you check the voltage? Sounds like it could be the problem but double check with the voltmeter.

changed the alternator....the o2 was shot... changed that...... still running like s***....

now i just got code 43.....

i got the knock sensor unplugged and it runs like s*** still.... one of my friends from aryteck performance said that the car will run like **** if its unplugged or its plugged in with a faulty knock sensor.... so i think imma just change the knock sensor and go from there....

if that dont work anyone got any ideas on what it can be its code 43... thanks Jared

ps... anyone know the factory torque specs for the knock sensor...

43 is a ESC issue, electronic spark control.

go here and follow this... i had a 43 on the monte i built and this let my find the broken wire....

http://www.chevythunder.com/maf_esc_module_code_43.htm

and yes i know it says 86-89, but it worked for me on my speed density setup. i just had to cross reference some wire colors for the different ecms. the ecm pinouts can also be found elsewhere on that site

i was going by the 90-92 year one.... that says its a faulty ecm or knock sensor or loose connection/bad ground.....

i dont understand any of that diagram whatsoever.. how long did this take you to do?
