top end kit

http://store.summitracing.com/largei...-300-503-1.jpg

Found that in the Summit catalog while on the thinking stool. Holley claims 425 hp on a standard 350sbc for that much $$$ you guys think its worth it. That would put the 3rd gen into the LSx power range cheaper than any LSx car that runs. With the TKO 3.73s and stroker kit I think the T/A might be one hell of a car

Bubba,

Others may disagree but I have heard that the Holley and Edelbrock kits are somewhat antiquated in design. You might want to consider something like an Air Gap manifold, Iron Eagle heads, and a Comp 292H or something like that.

I figured it would be better to do my own set up. I was thinking more along the lines of....
these

cam

heads
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

intake manifold

I'm not sure about a carb yet...I need to get more familiar with the how they work.

This is one of those buy parts and have them build up in your garage for 2 years kinda builds. I'm gonna take my time and not skimp on any parts, do the 388 stroker still and TKO trans. I'm just working with limited funds right now as I'm already taint deep in another build
