Winter mods......
What have you all got on the menu for this winter? FOr a change I don't have much (if i can make it to Island and back Sunday the car will have been running ALL YEAR LONG! And I'm not racing so I have a 50/50 chance!). Here is my list:
-Looser torque converter, mine is just way too tight, it has to be hurting the transmission, and I am going to up the stall to either 3200 or 3600
-Shocks/springs. 150 track passes and 40,000 miles have finally worn out my stockers. I am actually leaning toward the Edelbrocks, not a big fan of adjusting shocks and the cars I have driven with the Edelbrocks handle great and are still cutting awesome 60's at the track.
-Rebuild the rear My Posi is starting to make some noise and I want to put in higher gears, the 4.10's are killing me with the A4 so it is goingto be 3.55's or 3.42's going in and a detroit true-trac.
-Tires Tires Tires! I need some new rear street tires and a whole set of race tires.
Don't know if I will have the cash for all of it, the converter and street tires are the only real priority right now.
So what are you guys up to?

For the Monte -
1. New headliner and upper doorpanels
2. New brake lines and adjust rear brakes
3. Install Walbro fuel pump and re-route the feed line and filter
For the Jeep -
1. Put the winter wheels/tires on in November
2. Maybe a Dynomax cat-back and new O2 sensors if the budget allows

Save Money.... basically anything after Christmas I will be saving hopefully and maybe spend some on the car. If I don't buy a bike first which will probably happen!

Chevelle-put the motor back together, the 4speed in, redo the firewall, some ET Streets, and break it in (hopefully not just break it) before ocean city
Truck-2-3" lift, finish my brush guard, off-road lights on it, and pray I can make it to 200,000 miles

No real mods I'm looking into right now. However, I would like to clean up my engine bay and get that looking right. I need to paint the inner portion of the rear brake discs because they are rusty looking.
Mods Left to the car that I want:
12-bolt rear
shocks/springs
better front brake setup
Money is the only thing holding me up right now.

Yea thats why when I get what I want Im gonna have a grand to throw at it right away...Im narrowed down to either a 4v stang (new egde Cobra or mach) or a LS1. That should get either moving enough to hold me for awhile.

Mods for which car?
- I hope the 69 Z28 makes enough progress to be completed next year!
- If I keep the 70 SS396 I need to do some wiring/alternator fixes and would like to find a decent carb for it. It could really use some new valve seals too.
- I just grabbed a set of headers for the 2000 SS so if I can time things out well I might be able to get them on before winter. It's the daily beater so I can't have too much down time with it.

1. Clean up & "finish" the interior
2. Stainless Stepped Headers
3. Pay bills
4. Save money
5. Maybe upper & lower A-Arms
The Camaro as far as I am concerned is pretty much finished performance wise. I just want to replace those rusty headers & save some money.
