final plans for the TA
now that i have the 94 as a beater here is whats going to happen to the trans am. its going to be more strip than street now.
-20 gal fuel cell in trunk
-bypass regulator with return (fuel pressure is too high now as it is)
-rear with at least 3.73s
-get rid of heat all together
-aluminum radiator w/elec. fans
-elec water pump
-maybe single plane intake
-fiberglass trunk lid and rear bumper (to start)
thats the list so far. anyone have any suggestions or improvements?

Sounds good. Depending on where you park it you may want to either opt for a non-sumped fuel cell or build a guard around the lines so people can't crawl under the car and disconnect stuff to be jerks.

things to remove:
all a/c parts-44lbs about
spare tire and jack
all stero stuff
if you have leather seats ditch them for cloth or after market ones
remove power antena if there is one.

I wouldn't remove the heat. Heat on your feet is the best thing with the T-tops off or windows down on a cool day. Also helps defogging if your out late one night.
The rest sounds good though.

How much more strip than street? You don't need a 20 gallon fuel cell if you're not going to street it often at all. 10 or 15 would work then. Same goes for gears. You can go steeper, but keep in mind you can't street it as much the deeper gears you go.

Don't put a fuel cell in it . Have your tank sumped , you will miss your trunk no where to carry any stuff and a pain at the gas station to fill . Stay away from the single plane if your going to drive it on the street most of the time.Get a edelbrock performer rpm air gap ,more usable power band . 383 = broad tourqe curve not high rpm power.I wouldn't go any higher than 3.73 gear, or highways will not be freindly to your T/A. 3000 rpm gets old quick @ 65mph.Trust me keep the heat , defoger being able to see is #1. Your T/A is a nice one , hope to see it in person soon.

well i park it in my driveway which has a locked gate, so its pretty safe there, and its goes under the car cover. ttp is still going to put in a kill switch and with the cell im gonna have a fuel shut off valve in the trunk

20 because im still driving it on the street. i dont wanna have to stop every 20 miles to get gas. and i plan on running it on gt100 when ever possible the place is right by my house. maybe ill look at a 15 or 16 gal fuel cell

I think the final plan is to leave the car stock and sell it to me for $100.

Yikes!
Don't drive downtown Patterson at night. I hear the locals like to bump older cars.

That should be easy, you are building a drag racer. Light a-arms (weight reduction), stock replacement linkage, maybe even a manual steering box. Sprig & shocks are the only real decision point.
