I always loved the Mad Max series (with the exception of the 3rd one "Beyond the Biodome" I think it was called).
I had always hoped the Mad Max series would be re-done, like "Superman" or "Flight of the Pheonix", or another classic favorite of mine "Vanishing Point". In all three of these re-done movies, I liked the originals a lot, but liked the newer versions even better.
