				McCain vs. Obama

Let's run a hypothetical race here.
 McCain vs Obama.

I'm a Republican and I do NOT like McCain but now that Obama has FINALLY come up with some of his "plans" this guy is off of his f'in rocker. I find it funny how he talks about "taking care of Americans" yet some of his plans include spending $845 BILLIONS dollars on a "Global Poverty Act"

Right now the ancient one McCain gets my vote(even with his ridiculous stands on immigration and global warming)

I like McCain, In this race. No yes some of his view are pretty crazy but you have to remember hell be facing a democrat majority in congress to keep him in check. that said I think in general McCain would be best. Now if Obama was elected, with his crazy ass all-around scheme I have a feeling the tools in congress with just play along with what ever psychotic ideas he pumps out his rectum

In 2000, I wanted McCain to take the Reps, but for whatever reason everyone ate the dog**** that the heavy right threw out about McCain being a coward in Vietnam (like he did with Kerry) and picked Bush...ugh. McCain over Obama
McCain and Hillary...thats gunna be tough.
If Hickabee makes it into the Reps, Ill vote for anyone but. If he gets elected, Im moving to Canada.

huckabee most likely doesn't get it but theres a lot to still be decided, in terms of the primaries. I think McCain takes it but not by much, and I also think that the two posible choices from the dems will have even hippies voting right wing

Who said that?! Whoever said that should be shot on site for being one of the stupidest humans ever to have walked this earth. McCain is a highly decorated Naval fighter pilot who had almost every bone in his body broken when he was shot down behind enemy lines, and was captured by the Viet Cong and beaten and tortured in a POW camp for FIVE AND A HALF YEARS. He cared so much about his fellow POWs, that when the Viet Cong told McCain that it was his time to be released, he refused and made them let one of the other prisoners go. He did this again and again until the POW camp was liberated in 1973. He refused to go home and leave anyone behind. Calling McCain a coward is like calling the sky green.

In Europe, the nationalized health care is free, however, unless it's something simple like antibiotics for an infection, something more serious like cancer treatment will put you on a waiting list, where you'll likely die before having further treatment. (Why many cancer patients come over to the US for treatment.) In the US you get immediate treatment, but it costs a lot of money. Kind of like a double edged sword. Haha, I'm gonna try real hard not to get sick. Europe sure has some good bangers and mash, though. Oh temptation...

He cared so much about his fellow POWs, that when the Viet Cong told McCain that it was his time to be released, he refused and made them let one of the other prisoners go. Chances are I will be voting for McCain. I'd rather have more of a centrist than a pure republican at this point.

PBody is exactly right about national health care, too. It will NOT be the same level of care that we get now. I know people that come to the US for treatment all the time. One guy brought his mother here to get a hip replacement and paid for it out of his own pocket, because she was too old to get one (70 something). She wouldn't have been on a list, she never would have gotten one in her home country. In Britain the national dentist stuff is so bad that a lot of people are buying dental tools off of ebay and doing home dentistry.

a lot of people talk about the differences between the old mccain and the new mccain. they say he has changed his views on a lot of things. one thing i do like about mccain is that he is very outspoken about his views. i'd rather have that then a sweet talker like Obama or a side-stepper like Hillary. i have alot of thoughts on this subject but i will refrain.

damn, i can't wait to get out of this country.

it costs too damn much to live here and they're talking about boosting the tolls on the parkway, instituting a company to oversee the parkway, turnpike, AC expressway and pieces of rt 440 - for what?!? what would said company accomplish? be like the authorities they have up north for the bridges? have their own police force? more ways to get every nickel out of your pocket and into theirs.

they just went through a major re-assessment of the structures (including single family homes) here in Ocean County and you know what that spells, right? higher taxes. tax this and tax that and the cigarette tax is double the price of a pack (look online, you'll see cartons for $26) and they're talking about a .50 tax on gasoline that's already too GD expensive, hovering in the $3.00 range.

who knows what they'll think of at the federal level... you know gasoline engines are becoming obsolete, so think about switching your fuel to E85. so much for having a hobby.

it's more of give them an inch and they take a mile. again. but bush says the rebate checks are in the mail. wonder who is going to be left holding the bag for that one?

somebody get me outta here... please...
