diff motors , diff exhaust setup. 305 vs.350 . oens tpi the other isnt. turd gen headers are fairly cheap man, Do Not Buy Pacesters. their cheap but they dont last.Look for stainless w/o a coating, most cases after a few thousand miles the coating rusts off.

Both are 350s.....and the exhaust setup under a 3rd gen is practically identical too.

I know that....wasn't trying to argue that the 4th gen stuff would fit, just saying that his reasons weren't correct.

I'll race you with my N/A third gen street car!!!! $1,000 - it doesn't have a cage though, so I can't run it at the track....and if you wanna spray then I'm gonna have the NAWZ in too (pr0lly some race gas also). Oh, it's also coming to the track on a trailer 'coz Atco is FARRR man.

Actually header coatings don't rust off.....I've had Jet Hot do headers and sidepipes for a number of our cars now and they've held up great.

Brian said the coating rusts off. New coatings will char on the inside and outgass some of the coating which sometimes fouls the sensors.
Also even jet-hot eventually flakes off, then the headers do the rusting.

I interpreted this as the coating allowing the headers to rust...but maybe I'm reading it wrong. Either way I've had Jet Hot on my headers for over 5 years with no rust so far and a few other vehicles as well. But you're right.....eventually every metal part will inevitiably rust.

Maybe he should have used the word Flake instead of rust.
When these cars are driven, espically in the rain, it accellerates the flaking process. If you keep your ride in a garage and its only a nice day cruiser then the coating will last much longer.

Yeah daily driving isn't something that most of the vehicles I work on have to contend with so I'll defer to your superior knowledge on this one. Damn customers and their trailer queens hahah.

superior knowledge... ??? lol!
Anything can last forever if it isnt used.
Jet hot does guarantee their coatings for life but they dont pay to have them removed shipped back and replaced so the guarantee is only worth as much as the coating is.
