Ugh, fee like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
I just ordered my powdered connecting rods from GMpartsdirect.com, I Have been going back and forth in my mind for about 4 weeks now if I wanted to go through and order them, and now that I did, I feel so much better.
Anybody else do that where your so unsure, and then when you do go through with something, you feel a ton better?

More often than not a dreaded shot feels good when it goes down.

'69 Camaro. The avatar shot was not from my car, although I do own a set of 15" Torq thrusts. The pic was from one of the Penske cars.
The Camaro was a time and money pit and it was hard to part with because of sentimental value.

I was going to say, if that was your car with the flare on the rear fenders, I love it, I wantedto do that so much to my 79, make it trans am looking era.
This V6 is becoming a money pit, maybe I should trade for an LS juan.

I understand what the OP is describing. Granted it's usually reserved for more important life events, like getting engaged, getting married, buying a house, taking a new job, even buying your first car. But I get it.

I've done 4 out of those 5 you described, so I know an important life event. this was hobby stress, not life threatening stress.

I just felt that earlier this week when I paid off my car trailer. And in 3 months again when I pay off my Silverado!
