Windshield replacement
Im looking to find a guy to replace my windshield on my 92 Camaro. I need one of those mobile guys that can replace the windsheild at my home. Anyone know of a reliable guy that can do it in the old bridge area?

+1 ... i used them and it was like $150...about 5 months after i had it replaced i broke the windshield by trying to remove the wiper arms with a crowbar and cracked the corner... apparently it was a "stress crack caused from installation" and it was replaced under warranty for the free

plus 2 for safelite. i just had a window installed about 2 years or so back on my 86 camaro, cost me 175 out the door. they came to my house and replaced it, new weather stripping and all, swapped inspection stickers over too. he was even nice enough to let me clean off the vin tag and paint it back to black

not sure if they'll travel that far, but at work we use Dubin Glass out of Irvington. http://www.dubinglass.com/

call another place and get a confirmed estimate for lower, call back safelite tell them that you were quoted x amount (make it 10 dollars less than your current lower estimate ) and they will beat that price. Then call back the other place and say you found a lower price elsewhere (again quote them 10 dollars lower than your adjusted price from safelite) and get your confirmed quote. Call safelite back and tell them the quote (again 10 dollars lower) and procede to tell them that if they can beat that quote that you will get it done today. Enjoy Your 180-200 dollar windshield

Had mine done a few years ago for $170, can't see them going up in price that much. Had Norman's Glass in Burlington City replace mine. Probably a little to far south from you. They do Mobile repair but I'm not sure of there coverage area.

Allright, i probably shouldn't post his #, but here it goes.
dave 732-829-8217 tell him Curt gave you the #
if anyone gonna call him, please don't waste his time. he will do any windshield in any car for less than anyone else 95% of the time, if he is a couple dollars more, i do suggest using him anyway! his service is second to none and he is that good that you won't get any leaks or scatched up paint like the rest of those hacks out there. dave's been doing it for like 15yrs. unlike diamond/safelite/everyone else that hires new guys every month with no experience.
