Yep, an unstable bob gable post in the lounge! And it's gonna be a one hit wonder...

I stopped posting in the lounge quite a while ago due to a bunch of BS that I didn't want to be involved with anymore. I continued to post in the Central area, w/o any problems, and I was quite a frequent contributor. Well, all of a sudden one of the 80 gazillion mods or admin around here decided to move a bunch of my posts to the lounge, and I wasn't given any reason or rational why. I put a post up in the Central area questioning this, and the post was deleted w/o any answers being given to me. And PMs to the Big Man himself, Justin, were also ignored. So, it's time to move on. This is a typical situation on this board...you get called out to a gun fight, but aren't allowed to have any bullets. If a mod has a thing against something like "orange soda," he is allowed to zap posts about orange soda, even though there ain't a dayum thing wrong about posting about orange soda. The members are what "make" the board, but coddling mods is more important than the people who really matter. Despite my well deserved reputation as a loon I do put a lot of time and thought into my writings, and I consider them to be my intellectual property. I don't consider my writings to be open for changes from a mod or admin. I've tried playing nice and playing within the rules. But the writing on the wall is now a big arrow pointing towards the exit door.

I want to thank all of those who have brought some pleasure to my stay here, especially from a technical standpoint. But most of you people also exist in my "real" world, so it ain't like a good bye is necessary. And as always, the door to my message board at unstablebobgable.com is always open. One mod, no p/c, no b/s, no conformity required. The buildup of my AMX and battle of the bulge will be prominent subjects there in 2010.

Now, lets see how long this post will be allowed to stand. I think it will have the lifespan of a running turd gen in Bubba's hands...which ain't very long!

if your posts had ANY content relevant to the CENTRAL JERSEY region of the board, they would have stayed there. sucks you want to go, but you are reacting a little harshly to something that is fairly insignifigant

It's a damn message board people....it's not life. I'm not singling anyone out or taking shots at anyone but it's the internet. Yes there are rules here....there is no freedom of speech on a privately owned board...but on the flipside there's no reason to make a post saying bye because a few posts got moved.

Guys, in the grand scheme of things is it really worth getting stressed about? There's bigger things than a message board....just saying.

Again, not singling anyone out or trying to start a pissing match.

or if anyone actually deleted anything, posts got moved to an area where more people would notice them, so more people could laugh at them, so the legion of nut-swingers could grow. bob sent out pm's wanting to know why, and asking that it not happen anymore, and since then, NOT A SINGLE thread of his has been moved, and since then NOT A SINGLE communication from ubg, but, low and behold, this thread comes up a month or so later.

i still stand by my previous post that a mountain is being made out of a mole hill, but what's done is done now. and its up to ubg

Yeah you can complain about it being a private forum and whatever but he's right. This forum has made drastic changes for the worse in the 3 years I've been on it. Ya cant even think about putting up something a mod doesnt agree with or it will be taken down with 0 warning or notice.

Its awesome when you type out a thought out rebuttal or comment and go to check it for responses but o wait whered it go? Lost in the pile of things that the mods deemed unnecessary.

Idk I guess some people dont see it. Theres constant complaints about it and the admins dont even bat an eye at it. I'm starting to think the mods and admins should just rename themselves senators and representatives cause they give about as much of a damn about the forums as politicians do about the country.
