I just woke up and checked the fantasy league stats and realized that there are some very very very close teams involved here. Realized we dont have a thread going for the season yet, so im starting it. Looks like its going to be interesting.

Everyone happy with their teams so far???

I'm kinda mad i pulled Cedric Benson and started Ronnie Brown, but its still a close game.

I have been meaning to start a thread like this, but my computer has decided it doesn't like being connected to the internet anymore.

Just checked some of the scores, and wow. Philly defense put up 40 points, 11 point more than Tony Romo. (29 points)

I think you are going to pull off the victory. I got absolutely nothing from my receivers this week, and I wasn't expecting Slaton to have a bad game like he did against NYJ. Unless Evans has a huge game, I think I'm going to be 0-1 to start

if i can get my receivers in line (gd moss and his hissy fit for being double covered most of the game), i might be able to pull off a victory this year. first time i've had solid people to work with. even though i lost, i don't necessarily count it as a loss - 2 points? - i am in the top three points-wise.

shocker was jeremy shockey - he had a touchdown. now, why didn't i play him? that alone would have cemented a victory against anyone.

p.s. the bird's defense is going to be like that all year. someone has to pick up the slack for mcnabb. when does vick get to play?

As much as I hate New England, if Brady plays like he did in that second half against the Bills, its gonna be a good season for my teams (I have Brady in my other league as well)

ive completely revamped my team this week and pretty confidant with my lineup now.

week 4 and 5 are gonna be some interesting times for me with some of my starters being on bye weeks and playing against brees and brady in consecutive weeks.

another squeaker... tony homo had the worst game of his career sunday. thanks.

and of course, my beloved eagles fell apart under kolb and his no-good-throwing-interceptions arm. after he threw his first touchdown i was hoping he was going to have a good game, but he didn't have it in him. the defense didn't do too badly, but that's a helluva weight to shoulder.

AGAIN, screwed by my receivers! I swear I must have to worst batch of receivers of anyone. I put up 120 points...not bad, but doesn't help when people are putting up 150+. Could be my own stupidity though...I have Steve Smith (NYG) on my bench...I mean I should have known he would earn 29 points this week

Going to start him next week and hope he gets the ball like he did.
