flyin FTW !!!
JUST MESSIN WITH YA. have a safe one and don't worry, its a piece of cake. I've flown like 20times already !!!

The only thing that gets me on a plane is 5 martinis' and a thorazine big gulp. Best line I ever gave to a stewardess " I need a morphine drip and a hammer." " Whats the hammer for the stewardess asks?" " To make sure the morphine is working" I answer. I always get a laugh outta that one.

Holy crap, you've never flown before? I find that rare/amusing... I can't count how many times I've flown as a passenger or a pilot.

At least your first flight is a quick one to FL! My first was an 8 hour trip from Newark to Rome, Italy. And like everyone else said, the take-off ROCKS!!! It's really cool, especially if you're a motorhead.

I'm flying right now...lol um my first flight was 3yrs ago on a 50 passenger jet and had to sit near a man that looked just like Charles Manson amd had to sit in "the hole" (seat in the back under the engine) sucked I hated it felt every turn dip ect. Got on a big plane 747 and it was fine take off is cool didn't like much else.

Got you all beat, Flying to Taiwan, from start to finsh, about 24hrs., with 17-19 of it actually flying. the long stint over the pacific SUX!!!!, but when you fly over Siberia, or Alaska, it's pretty cool. One thing I picked up on my first flight is instead of flying strait down towards taiwan from there, we had to go around North Korea, guess they don't like us flying by

The opportunity never presented itself, which is why I still have yet to fly.

bring some chewing gum with you. It helps with the cabin pressure on your ears.

This
Orlando isnt bad. Detroit was a quick flight, but the plane was small. You felt all the bumps.
Going to Italy, that was a trip and a half. You realize you cant go anywhere. I couldnt imagine going to Oz or anything farther then 10 hrs.

You didn't get a tv that you could watch? I always find those helpful on long flights. When we were coming back from Vegas I managed to watch 2 movies, and some sitcoms, and the time just flew by.

Detroit from Newark is like an hour and a half flight. By the time I got the laptop up and loaded, we were on approach....

Ohhh oh yeah they had movies, but you get restless.
They played Titanic as we flew over the north atlantic. They had two movies, and then showed 3 epsiodes of some sitcom...

My worst was nonstop from Newark to Honolulu. I saw "Blades of Glory" three and a half times. All the other options were way too bad.
