Everyone is going to hate me....
But, I had to let my baby bird fly. Today I had to trade up to a more practical vehicle for myself, especially with the baby on the way. So instead of compromising I got myself into a great truck with some 6 liter power. Ill try to get some pictures up tomorrow of this 2004 Silverado SS I picked up this evening. They actually got me out of my car free and clear, and started fresh with a new loan.
This truck is pretty awesome though Im not going to lie, Im really sad to see my car go but its time I moved on to a more practical vehicle. The truck is as stock as stock can get with one previous owner, and only 12,000 miles on it.
So when everyone is done hating me Ill put up some pics.

awchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... i absolutely loved your car. How much did you get for it? The silverado ss is a very nice truck though that you will enjoy! If you traded it for something else, thennnn we might hate you

You gotta do what you gotta do man, family first. I've never seen your car in person, only pics online and it was a damn sharp car....but it's not like you traded it for a minivan or something

I had an 04 and an 03 Silverado SS . The first one I traded for my 06 goat the second one I had to get rid of because of the amount of traveling i did and the cost of gas.

I didnt even realize you were having a baby.. congrats!
Good choice, even if its a sad one.. baby seats probably dont sit well in the buckets in the back

nice truck doug best of luck with it... sad to see your bird go though.. i must admit that car was pretty sweet.. but this truck looks bad ass man... the jsfboa is ls1 free but its riddled with the cancer that is LT1'S!!! any plans for it doug?

nice doug, I got a 99 Z71 that's pretty sweet. It's only got the 5.3 and it moves out, so I'm sure the 6.0 really moves that thing!

I have a few plans for it, I hear these LQ9 motors make some good power. Im thinking tint for the front windows, taking off the billet grill that someone put on, blacking out the headlights and tail lights, and painting those lower grill pieces that are gray, black. I would like to do something with the exhaust eventually, maybe ill put my electric cutout on there haha.

The LQ9 can make some power and handle some abuse.
