89 Formula engine swap?

Hey guys, just got into my first fb (3rd gen) formula with a stock 305 v8. This is my winter project and trying to get any indea's on what type of engine would be a good awap for this car? I have been told that a Dyno 350/290 hp engine part#12499529 would be a good but any others input?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
thanks
Dave

I would just get a 350 block and build a TPI/or Carb setup.

And of you swap over to TPI you dont need to swap he engine harness at all either. You can mod your exsisting one in about two -three hours for the 90-92 SD ecm.
