the copo is a sick car, but as far as im concerned if it doesnt put up better times than the super cobra jet, then its a fail

pretty sweet... i agree with beggs though... if its not competitive with that super cobra jet then its deff a failure...

they didnt mention any numbers, i could care less about super cobra jet, shelby, kr or any other ford product. i believe this is a body and you add your engine and tranny and other stuff, it is available in the gm perf catalog. last time i worked the dealership it was an olds cutlass i believe. i like that gm is still offering this stuff in there catalog. part #19243374

COPO "concept" is being tested with 2 different engines so it can qualify for 2 different racing series.
First engine is a supercharged 5.3, the other is a higher output 7.0.
Believe they are running high 9's with it. Not sure on what the CobraJet is running.
Funny story: In 1969, the ZL1 was a COPO car, yet 2012, ZL1 engine will not be available for COPO race car because of displacement rules.

i know there is a difference, i didnt hear them mention if it would be offered as a package from gm. but there was a disclaimer at the bottom (concept vehicle not for sale).

2012s SCJ best time was 9.22 @ 149 i beleive.
