LS1Tech is really going downhill.
There's less 'tech' and more 'retard' every day. I made the mistake of hitting the 'new posts' this morning and after looking through a dozen threads I wanted to gouge my eyes out so I couldn't accidentally read more.

Yup, harder and harder to find decent tech and then even harder to find people who actually share said info.

It's even more fun when you're looking for info and find out the asshat spouting off has never gotten off his cheeto stained couch, let alone ever touched a wrench.

Still the #1 go to site for me, imo there isn't any other Fbody site that touches it.

Sadly, that's true. There *is* still good tech info but you've got to wade through an awful lot of sewage to find it.

Generally you want to look at the username first. There is plenty good info coming from sponsors there, they also have sick sales certain times of the year. I highly recommend logging on around thanksgiving and checking the sponsors sale section. Other than that it's all people driving bolt on car's with the same corvette replica wheel.

Not anymore at least.
NastyZ28 in its prime (2002-2006ish?) was easily the best of the F-body sites on the net, and I was a member of each one.
You'd ask a question and get a quick response from a number of guys who were experts on the subject. Marv D, jakeshoe, Rick WI... even Monty Mikho the owner of Yellow Bullet was active there before YB took off.
After the mass-buy, none of them were ever the same. Camaros.net took a dive, NastyZ isn't the same, Novas.net is dying, etc.

NastyZ is privately owned and never sold out.

Those 'retard' new posts was probably one of mine
I just use ls1tech for technical info. Lemme rephrase that- I use google search to search ls1tech for technical info. Much better success and less garbage to sift through.

It was never sold out. It was always privately owned. It did go from M1 to M2 back to M1. It is probably the most active single marque (not sure what term to use), privately owned automotive forum on the web.
i'm in chat if you like.

If not for NastyZ28, I would have never been able to restore my car. One of the better communities on the web.

LS1tech has its goods and bads. Their classified section is great. Tons of parts to look through for someone looking to save some money on a build. Also there are a ton of sponsors, which leads to nice savings from group purchases. I just ordered my turbo kit through an LS1tech sponsor sale. Between the savings on the kit and the discount on which ever turbo I end up choosing, I'm gonna be saving almost a grand off of list price, for all brand new parts. Like others have said also, there is plenty of good info, but you need to know who is giving it to you. There are plenty of "big names" in each section that know what the hell they are talking about. You just have to sift through the ******** to get to their posts...

Yea you can't beat their For Sale section, also like the Multimedia section.99% of the parts from my last build came from Tech. If I need tech advice I have local friends for that.

Yea the problem w/ Tech is Fbodies are dirt cheap nowadays and you have a bunch of of teenagers with them acting like dummy's. There still isn't a site touching it.Cz28.com (LT1 land) and LS1.com are graveyards, and have been for years. The few times I've been on yellow bullet it seems like a bunch of hardasses lol.
