came across this beauty on craigslist...30th anniversary with 550 miles on it original owner. havent seen one so pristine. i dont see white leather seats too often either. does this belong to anybody on here?

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3428802100.html

i wonder if he'll get anywhere near 26.5 for it.

I like those 30th anniv cars. But even a low mileage one like this that has been kept out of the sun shows the different shades of white on each panel because of the different materials. The hood, fender and door are all different shades of white.

yeah that is a waste of a car. with 550 miles and after 15 or so years he probably just drove it around town a few times. and if hes going to take that much of a hit he should start driving it and enjoy the car or keep it for like 10-15 years longer and the price may mature a little bit when these cars become hard to find...but even then thats a long shot.

wow, really? Now a new SS doesn't look so high priced lol.

He's taking a bath on it and never enjoyed the car - add costs like registration and insurance. Sweet.

if its an lt4 id realistically pay 10k for it at the most...but theres a lot better cars id rather have for the price....although probably not in that pristine looking condition. i wonder how it actually runs though sitting all that time.

That's not a regular car anymore. That's a museum piece. Like the 25 mile IROC and the rest of them like that. Same with barely used 60's and 70's survivor cars.

The originality and low use are where the value comes from.

That is sexy! If I had the means I would buy it. Yes you can get a 5th gen for close to that price but then again so can everyone else.

its definitely a hell of a car. but damn...20 grand is just...harsh. i wish it had like 20k more miles and 10k dollars less. it would actually be pretty reasonable then. i couldnt see myself owning a car thats made it all these years with only 500 miles....id ruin that in one weekend of driving pushing that bad boy over 1k no problem

IMO special edition cars from 93-02 will pull some numbers but not for a while.

I agree with you, he should keep it for another 10 years and then he will get his asking price. Its a stuning car but not for his price in today's economy.

How do you have a car and never enjoy it? I get a lot of enjoyment by knowing I have something even if I don't use it but 550 miles in 10+ years? I would go insane by never using it.
