Yeah, a clear engine, hmm.... out of diamond.... yeah, that stepped over the line. He's now full blown retard.
Now to through you guys a little bit of cool info. I have actually SEEN and operated a clear single cylinder engine that ran on alcohol. The cylinder was completely clean and the thing made like NO horsepower, like I could grab it with my hand on the crank to slow it down to a stop. It was used for grad level classes at C.A.R. (center for automotive research) out at OSU. Me and my friend had a blast playing the thing. The blue alcohol flame would turn white and orange depending on the mixture and water injection.
Here's another idea I had planned for when I win lots of money; Glass valve covers, glass intake runners into a tunnel ram style clear plenum. Glass timing chain cover (would be tricky with the seal at the oil pan. Clear vinyl radiator hoses. Clear plastic distributor cap. Clear hood of course . Then the electronics pervert (according to Tim) would break out the strobe lights timed to the engine revolutions so you could see things working in slow motion.
Anybody else think that would be really cool?
