Goes to Show We Know More About....

Space then we do the bottom of the ocean...

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/seacreatures.html

These are REAL PICS taken after the tsunami. These are some new species that were found when the actual force of the wave pushed them up from the bottom of the ocean. They were dead after reaching a certain height due to low pressure (they are used to high pressure deep in the water) and their blood vessels basically exploded (thats why you can see through some of the scales/skin of them). WICKED SHAT!

most of those aren't new species. the first one looks like some sort of hatchet fish. the 2nd one is an angler fish (uses a small light on top of it's head to attract fish, then eats them).

the 3rd one is a spider crab. the 4th one i've never seen before, but it looks like a rockfish. 5th one is a chimera (distantly related to sharks). 6th and 7th are an eel and a squid. the 8th one I've never seen before, but it appears to be a young fish. the 9th one is a deep-sea eel, it's jaw distends to let it swallow things twice it's size.

Never seen the 10th one before, but it's ugly. The 11th one is pretty weird, never seen that before. looks like a bottom-feeding fish. the 12th one is a deep-sea shark. the 13th one appears to be a viperfish. Nasty little fish.

some of those fish are really cool looking. And thanks to our marine biologist (skorpion317) I know what some of them are now.

they are real fish, but the tsunami part is fake.

this explains what each fish is, etc....
