i read through the forums and have come to the conclusion that some ppl there are idiots and/or just straight up asses. i was posting in a thread about ws-6 hoods, ppl were bitchin about how ppl with v6s shouldnt get ram air hoods cuz they dont have the power to back it up and all that horse ****. i was goin along with they guys that were sayin "it doesnt matter if you do or dont have the power to back it up! its just an appearance mod!" and i said i dont really care if i do or dont have the power to back it up, my car prolly runs low 15s (in its usual state, cuz i know kasey was gonna say sumtin about it

) and im gonna get one eventually. then this one dude started givin me **** like i was sayin that my car runs 11s NA. i was like why the hell do you care if i say that my car runs low 15s? he even sent me a pm sayin that he doubts that my car runs low 15s cuz i dont have a vbgarage or any timeslips (which is reasonable) but why make such a big deal about it?

because people are retards and don't understand that stylin and performance are seperate issues.
ram air hoods look much cooler than the stock flat hoods GM gave the 4th gens. if you like it, get it. if that guy has so much **** to say ask him when he wants to roll out here and challenge NJ's V6 crowd. it is the quickest crew in the country, #2 n/a car and #1 confirmed power adder car are both members here.

why do you care what someone who you will probably never see in person thinks of your opinions?

if YOU like the ws6 hood, and YOU want it on YOUR car then buy it...simple as that

im getting one this winter....ask him if my non slp car is allowed to have one next time your on there....

wow, I have not seen so many excuses and stories since I last killed a ricer. Bottom line, like you admitted, is all your car has is speculation. Those times "made by alotta the guys over at NJFBOA and kasey himself" (like he's a damn celebrity ) were made under the assumption of optimum track conditions and a highly skilled driver. I don't care if you say your car can run low 17s; a false claim is a false claim.

who said anything about optimum track conditions and a highly skilled driver? i know i didnt. why dont you come up here and race some of the v6's from jersey? we have the 2nd fastest N/A v6 fbody and the fastest FI/power added fbody in the country! both of which are members of the NJFBOA.

basically what i said in the thread to start this off was that my car prolly runs low 15's and i can keep up with kasey's car which does 15 flat (i neglected to add with DRs, and no spare, jack or back seats

)

i just think hes jealous

i dont really care what the doosh has to say about me or my car, i just thought it was kinda funny that he was makin such a big deal outta it. the thread was originally about the ws-9 outlaw hood, some guy wanted opinions on it and it turned into all that crap...
