diesel question

how much pressure (psi) does a stock 2003 ford powerstroke turbo put out? I work with a guy that has one and he said he's pushing more than 35 psii out of it. I dont really know anything about diesels, so I was wondering if anyone knew off hand what the stock boost setting was. thanks in advance.

I think its a 6.6 litre

they're capable of pushing out that much boost, but most run between 6-20 psi.

That could be correct. My dad has a 7.3L Powerstroke turbo diesel, and it hauls ass with 2,000+ pounds of tools in the back. Its 6.6L? I thought they only came in 6.0 and 7.3L in the later models.
