This morning when I was taking the AMX back to my garage I came to an area where some PSE&G guys were working, and there was a cop standing by the area to direct traffic. He waved me to go ahead, then told me to "NAIL IT!" I was kinda stunned, but I downshifted and gave the tires a pretty good bark. I'm just glad he didn't chase me down and ticket me and call me a dumb azz for listening to him...lol

irocically, i saw the same exact model today driving in teanck.bergenfeild, but poor condition and not worked, lol. just weird...you go years without seeign one and then 2 in 2 days back to back.

Anyone interested in buying one i believe its a 72? not quite sure can find out for sure , me neighbor is selling his 100% original car is in beautiful shape garage kept since hes owned it (somewhere around 15 years) i know its manual dunno anything about these cars so dunno what tranny i think its a 400? engine, exterior color is puke green though. i believe hes asking in the neighborhood of 14,000 just figured id let everyone know.

i think it had more to do with how cool UBG's AMX is.

Had something like this happen to me at a stoplight coming home on the parkway once when I was in the TA and a couple of cops in a cruiser were next to me. They rolled down the window and yelled "Hey man!, Get on it when you leave the light!"... course my response was "uh.... you wont arrest me afterwards will u?" them: "haha nah go head!" so ofcourse I nailed it and left them just smiling at the light.

Now to make the story more interesting when I was going up to see my ex, like 2 months after that a cop followed me for about 4 miles and then pulled me over for no reason... so ofcourse I was thinking great what did I do now. But it ended up being one of the cops that saw me that day and he just told me he stopped me to talk about my car and such. He told me that he had a 71 Trans Am and was looking at stuff to do to it so I actually went and saw the guy at his house like 1 week later and bull****ed with him. He was really cool and I see him all the time and just waves too me hehe.

Some cops are cool guys.

Usually the younger cops that are just out of the academy are the worst... they are always trying to save the world... Just one ticket at a time... The older cops seem to be a tad bit more nice about things like that
