I bid you Adieu
New Jersey. Just found out a couple of days ago that I got an assignment at Scott AFB IL that I applied for. I have to be in place no later than 30 March. Working on putting the house up for sale (minor quick upgrades to do) and get some excess stuff trimmed off before we go.
Can't say I'm going to miss NJ too much, but I'm not an east coaster either. I'll miss the proximity to Atco and the strong group of F-Body bretheren though. but hey, 3 years from now I very well may be coming back!!!!
Can you tell I'm excited??

Thanks everyone!!!! I'm hoping to make it back here (it's not THAT bad) after my three year tour is up, so we'll see how that works out. Rob, I definitely plan to have fun out there. Isn't Mid-America Raceway like 15 minutes from the base??
Good news is that the wife and I already got a USAA pre-approval for $230K which looks like it's going to buy us around 2500 square feet and a three car garage with a basement.  
Yes, I LOVE the thought of a nice big garage.

Gateway International Raceway is less than 15 minutes from Scott. M.A.R. is in missouri, but they closed it down a few years ago  I was sad when I heard that. It was the atco of missouri.
