BS on GM
they discontinued the 91-92 aero style front ground effect all of a sudden. i spent all winter destoryin the one my z28 came with cuz it was all messed up. i ordered a new one from the body shop n they called yesterday and sed no more. i checked ebay and they always used to have a bunch....all gone. i checked hawks and they say they have a few left but now the price is like 399-499. looks like im guna have to fix mine lol

I have a 91/92 Aero chin spoiler if you are interested. It is off a 91 Z28 and it is in very good shape. There are no cracks or anything. It is white in color, and looks like it may have been resprayed at some point since the paint is flaking off. Basically an hour with some sand paper and it will be good as new. I'm trying to get $150 for it. Let me know if your interested.

They may have discontinued it but they have a new aftermarket company making parts that GM has discontinued. AS GM releases the part to this company they will make them. These parts are made to original GM standards and are far better than reproductions. I know this beacause a friend of mine is a parts manager at a Cadilac dealer. Slowly alot of the thirgen parts are being made again by VIP. They are just coming around to do 91 - 92 Camaro parts. Im in the same boat as you. Every month or so the catalog gets updated on what VIP is making and what GM has discontinued. The part you are looking for may have been discontinued but the warehouse or some dealer may have NOS peices in stock. Any dealer can do a search and see what other dealer or warehouse has one.

Now I'm not calling BS... but "manufactured to GM spec" and/or "manufactured with GM tooling" does not make them equivalent to GM parts IMO.

Well this company is taking the place of there OER brand of restoration parts. So I dont know. I already have gotten parts from the new company and seem to be pretty good.
