To the F'n B word at wawa
F you. I was rolling down the local 2 lane with my buddy half a mile back after we left the car wash around 11. I had the cruise set at 53 listening to the sweet sound of the new exhaust. I see a cop that had someone pulled over pull out, go 1/4 mile down the road, and whip a u turn to come my way. I was like hmmm he must be going back to his spot he was sitting at before. Anyways, back to cruising. I get all the way over in the right lane to turn into the wawa we were going to. My buddy's g/f works there and we get free coffee  . I pull in all slow and make a wide turn to back up in a spot behind me and this B word almost hits me driving 35+ mph in the parking lot. I'm like WTF. I notice there was a state cop pulling in a few seconds after her. I continue backing up. I put the car in park and whoop whoop. His lights come on and he points the car right at me. I'm like WTF I wasn't doing anything. By this time my buddy pulls in.......happens to be the same wawa I pulled into when I got pulled over in the trans am lol, but anyways. I turn the car off and the convo goes like this....
Me-How you doing tonight?
Cop-Good, license, reg, proof of insurance
Me-Here you go(hands it to him)
Cop-Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me-Sir, I have no idea.
Cop-Do you know what the speed limit is on state highway 38?
Me-Yes I do it's 50
Cop-I clocked you going 72 half a mile back.
Me-There is NO way I was doing 72. I had the cruise set at 53.
Cop-Are you sure you weren't doing 72 back there?
ME-I'm freakin positive
Cop-Sit tight I'll be right back.
(by this time I'm furious because I know that B word was the one speeding and I'm getting pulled over for it  )
Cop-Here you go. You're probably not the one I clocked back there.
Me-Thank you
Cop-You have a nice night.
Me-You too.
My buddy bob, his g/f, and her cousin(also works there) were all outside watching the whole thing go down. I got out of the car and was shaking I was so pissed. The only thing that stopped me from walking in there and ripping her head off was the 5 customers in the store. I should have just walked in there anyways and taken after UBG.......we need to hang out more.

when he pulled in he noticed it was a female so he went after the guy in the muscle car..... typical nj bs. I have any # of stories just like that, but its not worth it . I dont want to be deemed a "cop hater"

Or maybe the two cars were near each other on the road, and he just happened to clock the wrong car. It sucks that it took some time out of Rob's day, but he didn't get a ticket and the cop admitted that he probably clocked the wrong car. Sounds like a pretty decent guy to me.....

Who cares? You didn't get a ticket and the stupid "B" didn't hit you. I'd consider yourself lucky and write it off as another one of those F'd up things that happen. If that happened to me I'd probably be shot or in jail (TERMINAL BLACK CLOUD SYNDROME)  Love my life!!

I hate NJ police - i have never been pulled over in any other state but NJ and have never gotten a ticket for anything other than tint (2x), but been pulled over 12x in my last count and that’s in the past year and a half. even 2 nights ago i was coming off rt55 and got followed for a good 2-3miles by a cop who then did a complete u-turn on a four lane road cause I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Feel like im just getting harassed anymore
oh and the time before that (week ago now) i got pullled over because i had a headlight go out - now im ok getting pulled over for that - she comes up to the window and with chuckle says " oh not you again, go on get out of here." now i dont mind getting pulled over by her because she is the sexiest voice and used to drive a z28 (previous conversations - i think thats the thrid time she pulled me over in TWP)
moral of the story dont ride through TWP after midnight - i have to because im coming home from work.

I know how you feel Rob. the fella clocked the wrong car, and seeing that you drive a vette' he automatically assumed you were speeding.
I had a cop pull me over for something similar. he said he paced me at 70mph... I told him i had my cruise set at 52 mph and he mightve had to do 70mph to catch up to me since i actually passed him as he had someone pulled over. i didnt get a ticket; But after he walked around my car, loooking for something wrong, he gave me a stupid BS ticket for my front plate

I had some thing similar happen, only I was driving like a jack ass, and the cop found everything wrong with the car.....
