I'd say go for a simple "AMX" in red white and blue on one side of the spoiler. About 6" high.  Possibly a small "AMERICAN MOTORS" placed underneath it.

Just put "American Motors" on it. Most people have no idea who AMC was so it's nice to pay tribute and at the same time it definitely points out it's not an import.  Save the websites or names for the back window so it can be removed easily.

I would definitly try and incorporate #1 or any type of AMC/AMX logo with whatever you decide to do back there. Just to make sure they know it ain't no 'stang

Well, I sat down tonight w/ my crayons, some AMX picts, and an AMX model, and I decided I'm going to go with "American Motors Racing" and an AMC logo. I think that cuts right to the chase. But now I'm getting ideas for other areas of the car, involving a figure that looks like unstable bob gable wearing a Captain America suit, and holding a Diet Coke can...

Well, if you are going to go by Captain America, maybe you should get "The Avenger" on the spoiler.
