The 6th picture would have been awesome if there was less wall, more car, or more space to the right. Otherwise not bad for a point & shoot.

he has a canon rebel isnt that like an slr camera?

Exif Reader says Canon PowerShot S5 IS, still technically a point and shoot, but its good. I would tone down the contrast. I don't know what peoples obsession is with blown out colors.

tell your buddy to enter his GF in the LS1.com calendar this year we need entrys and she is gorgeous.
It's hard finding cool places to take pics. I know it is up here in N.E. Jersey because everything is so crowded.
