I've seen a couple 98+ Firebirds online with chrome ZR1's and they look pretty good.

are you thinking of going 17s or 18s? I actually dont really have any suggestions for 17s becuase there are very few i like. most are expensive i.e. Fikse. If you want 18s, well i obviously would suggest chrome C6s. I love the look of simple five spoke wheels with NO lip. But chrome C6 Z06s would be my second suggestion.C5 Z06s are ugly on anything other than a C5 Z06 and WAY played out.

Personally I don't think the Z06 rims look bad, and theres are a ton of people selling them in this board alone so theres your cheaper alternative

imo an argent colored wheel or gunmetal wheel looks best on NMB... theres a guy on ls1tech with a NBM camaro with argent colored c5 zo6 wheels i think they are 18x10.5 inthe back 18x9.5 in the front ... it looks really really good imo... did you think about c5 zo6's???

if this is your dd, the main question that should be asked is "Is it going to see poor weather? i.e. rain/sleet/snow/etc."
if so, I'd stay away from chrome

I had polished ZR1s on my Formula. I liked 'em, if I had to do it again I'd get black faced ones. Played out or not, they look good on the car. And they are cheap. Now I have thin spoked WS6 wheels on the car and it fits better (probably because they actually made a Formy WS6 and not a Formula ZR1). Gunmetal ZR1s look good, tough to find though.

Nice looking wheel. People underestimate plain silver wheels on NBM and many other colors.
You get an aftermarket wheel with a factory appearance.
