				Complete interior swap

From LS1 tech.com i posted up to date info on my swap. here it is compiled to one post:
Started out with tan camel **** interior. Sold EVERYTHING except the door panels. It is not complete yet but the big stuff is done.

Start:

Middle:

lol, empty interior -no pics-

painted the door panels with duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint. first they were cleaned thoroughly, then coated with adhesion promoter, then laid on the color. they came out surprisingly well, and the soft vinyl wont crack when you push on it. pretty good paint.

carpet is in. doors painted. waiting for seatbelts so i can put up the headliner and finish installing the plastics.

Complete:

yeah you better come get these things!
still waiting for my silver gauge faces to arrive. got my chrome vent rings, just gotta put them in then ill take some more pictures.

also toying with the idea of a custom self built rear seat delete/sub enclosure. while keeping it lightweight. something that looks nice but isnt over the top. maybe two subs or something.

looks good man, I swapped the interior in the iroc too. Same thing, started off with tan interior (it was shot) and converted it to black/charcoal/grey. Seats, carpet, door panels, plastics, headliner etc etc

hey doug, i have found that the dupli color vinyl paint in flat black looks great on the interior plastics. i started out doing my shift plate area and now i have half the dash plastics done.

thats what i used. it stays flexible on vinyl soft surfaces. that stuff would be great for seats.
