			I wish I could say that was rare. But I've seen three rotors like that in the past month. Looks like a ring gear.

			i drove it lots of times in the fall loaded with muck crap from dredging the lake...brakes never felt weird or made noise

and yeah, rusted like that....probably because we mostly only use them in the winter for plowing/salting, only a few times in the summer for hauling dirt/rocks/whatever...we actually used this truck all summer hauling around catch basin blocks to rebuild catch basins, i drove it a lot of that time and never felt anything weird
