Anyone else download the new Update? The new ESPN app is very cool. Will be picking up the Kinect tomorrow as well.

Cool, how is the new look? I saw that there was supposed to be a new color scheme and all new fonts.

What game(s) are you planning on getting with Kinect?

I was expecting so much more? I got the email for my little brothers xbox, and It actually looks like it took a step back, at least in UI look.

That animal game for my daughter since we cant have pets in our apartment, and maybe that racing game as well. I hear that Gears of War 3 will be on Kinect as well..

The new scheme is cool but just like every other update it takes a little to get use to. I am so happy with the ESPN as I can now watch my sports in another room were we do not have cable with my 360

the update is pure garbage. the overall design is a step back, everything is waaaay to bright, and the party chat sounds like everyone is on speakerphone.

yeah its pretty bright. i dont like it. i wish they gave you a color palette to wash out that bright white big x menu. at least its locking up Jtagged hacked xboxes and making them useless online and off

New update blows. I agree its a step back to the first 360 dash board. Very slow and extra ten a year for an ESPN app that most people do not want! Go reserve the kinectimals at gamestop. You get a tiger plush!

Well I like the ESPN app. I dropped my sports package off my Dish network. For me 10.00 a year is better then 10.00 a month to get all the ESPN channels.. As far as the dashboard goes I dont like it as well. The 1st Dashboard was the best. I am getting use to it however and pretty soon I wont even notice it.

I use the dashboard alot. Our xbox is on for 6 hrs a day. all of my daughters Cartoons are on the Netflix, and when I get home from work now I watch the ESPN updates on the ESPN app. My wife listens to that Last Fm app when she does crap around the house and we also play games on it. She also chats with her Family in Utah and when the Kinect comes out tomorrow my wife will probably spend all day talking with her 6 brothers and sisters..

you can always sell your xbox and get yourself a ps3 with free psn and have the worst internet experience the current gen consoles have to offer

Btw psn is fifty right now for the plus which is optional but with in the next year, two at max you will have to pay. But your right psn blows so I really don't mind paying for xbox.

I like PSN way more then XLive. You don't get as many little kids on PSN as you do with Live.

lol you dont know that. the voice quality of the live audio is horrible on ps3 and no one ever uses mics, so you have no clue who you're playing with. if you have a problem with kids on xbox just mute em

Been playing around with the new Kinect for the past 2hrs. I must say its pretty nice. Makes everything simple were you dont need to use a controller for anything. My daughter absolutly loves it and her Kinectimals game. She named her cub, Piggy for some reason.
