AMC dine in theater with recliners?

			http://www.amctheatres.com/dinein/
Anyone else hear of this? A kid just made a speech about this class and it's pretty neat. $25 per person for dinner and movie, there's a bar too.

Only the West Orange, Menlo Park Mall, and Bridgewater Malls have it so far.

My brother-in-law and his wife went once. While an interesting concept, they come in the middle of the movie to take orders and clear plates. You also hear people eating and clanging utensils and all throughout the movie.
I much prefer the local drive in theater. you get to choose who you sit next to, and no other people talking/on phones/eating etc.

unless youre in a rush for something i feel like its a stupid idea. a regular movie ticket is what, 10, 11 dollars tops? so you are paying an extra 14-15 dollars for a meal...made in a movie theatre. go to a restaurant to get your food, go to the movie theatre to see a movie. thats my philosophy.

its awesome, gf and i have done it a few times. seats are big and comfy. its 10 for the ticket and the rest goes for food or drink. They seem to try to be quiet during the movie. Food was decent too.

My friend made a good point, this is really aimed towards the People with kids. They get to go out, see a movie and have dinner in the same timeframe as going to the movie.
Cuts down on the time they need to pay for a babysitter

you have to be 18 to get in, if you're younger, you have to be with a parent or something. its a really nice place and the foods not bad.

drinks are the usual + alcoholic drinks. yeah, you can go to the movies and have a beer.

It is TGI Fridays type food. $25 each, $10 for the movie and the rest is credit towards food. A good concept but the menu is not diverse enough IMO.
