Grew up right in the middle of lake houses owned by New yorkers, its right on spot because Lake hopatcong 100 years ago had bertrand island amusement park which attracted New yorkers during the summer as a resort. Many of the homes are bungalow style still to this day many lake houses have NY cars parked outside. Can also be on the edge of rednecks. And the high elevation land that gets snow when NYC and south jersey are raining.
