Don't be so sure. I doubt he will die in the film as that would make the story very sad. I see it being more of a tribute (ride off in the sunset style in some sort of GTR).

I dunno I read somewhere that they used some footage of his younger brother standing in to do some film work and they said the scenes were real emotional in context...so im thinking he dies in some glorious fashion and they use the younger brother stand in for some sort of ''hey remember when he was younger'' shots of him growing up. thats just the most logical decision imo but this is the FNF franchise...logic never really had much of a groundhold. heh parachuting pun

The problem with making his character 'ride off into the sunset' is that it sets it up for his eventual return (which wont happen)....then the series will have to focus on his death in a later account anyway. Best to do it in this series however very interested to see how it will be done. They need to be as respectful as possible to the family and the fan base as they are killing him off (the character he created that is) a 2nd time. It shouldn't be a street racing scene as it hits too close to home...will it be a scene with him sacrificing himself for his 'fnf family' and son?? I guess we should stay tuned.
Since this will probably be the biggest grossing film of the franchise (I mean even if you aren't a fan many folks will want to see his last film), I doubt the curtain will fall on the franchise after this one...it may but I doubt it. If it goes on, I suspect them bringing in a new character with equal the charisma and leading character ability as Paul, as difficult as it may be...to continue the series onward.

I'll see it. Its seems like this franchise will never die. All of us who have invested the time in the franchise will keep investing the time. That by itself makes it worth it for them financially to keep making them. Paul dying certainly put a strain on the story though. Unless they kill the character you will never see that side of the family anymore and that is a strong piece in the storyline. So it will be interesting to see what they do in this film and moving forward
